Clark Color Labs Free Shipping and 50% off enlargements

If you're like me, then you love taking pictures. Well, back in the day we all used film. Now, most of us use digital cameras. I love having a digital camera because I take so many bad pictures. Really, it saves me a lot of money not having to develop all of the pictures I wouldn't want anyway. In any case, this morning I got an email from Clark Color Labs about a promotion they are running. Right now you can get 50% off any enlargements and Free Shipping on orders of $30 or more. Woohoo!!! I just got back from a trip to Ohio where I took about a hundred pictures of my new nephew. I got a lot of great shots I had planned on having printed in various sizes so this is the perfect time for a promo like this pass to across my desk. Also, you have to think ahead. Christmas will be here before you know it and pictures make great gifts. The code you'll need is: SAVEBIG9C With the promo code the picture prices are great. I don't personally know how much shipping is if you don't spend $30 so you'll have to decide for yourself based on your needs whether this is the deal for you or not.

If you are only looking for 8x10 enlargements you may want to consider shopping at Kodak this week. They are currently offering a 50% discount off their professional grade prints (8x10 only) so the pictures are a little more than CCL, but they are also offering free shipping on orders over $4.99. That's not too bad. You would need to order three prints to get free shipping. It may or may not be worth your while. The Kodak code is: PRO50

Gives Me Hope

This wonderful site was posted on my "mommies" board and I've really enjoyed reading it. Things like this are meant to be shared and though it won't save you any time or money, it will definitely give to you a feeling of warmth and happiness. There are good people out there.

Gives Me Hope

I'm Back

Months have passed and life goes on. Thankfully my family is well and we're moving forward in all the right directions. I'm going to do my best to get back here two to three times a week. With three rambunctious munchkins running around it's unlikely I'll manage more than that. I'm going to savor the summer and gear up for a money saving fall. If I come across some fabulous finds I will gladly share them here. I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to pop in even though I've been away. Your visits mean so much to me. May this quick message find everyone in good health with more wealth in their pockets.

Just a Little More Rain

You've probably noticed another week went by and there was nothing new here. I'm sorry. Unfortunately, last Tuesday my dear husband had three teeth extracted in the morning and then ended up in the hospital Tuesday evening with a kidney stone. This resulted in several days of illness for him as well as several appointments and finally a procedure to break up the stone. It was very stressful for all of us and I couldn't be happier that's it's over and done with. The procedure worked and my dear husband returned to work yesterday.

I'm still trying to settle back into a normal routine with the kids and all of our many springtime activities. Many things have been put on the back burner these last couple of weeks and I need to tend them. I don't have any fabulous tips, freebies, or frugal ideas to share today. I would like to make a recommendation though.

Take time for yourself and your family when you can. The house can wait. The errands can wait. Seize the moment and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Go for a walk. Plant some flowers. Play at the park. Take a bike ride. Don't miss the fleeting opportunities before you. Live in the present. You won't regret it.

April Showers

I apologize that I've not been around this week. Unfortunately my family had quite an eventful Easter holiday.

Sunday morning I fell and hit my head off of our cedar chest and got a concussion.....my head still hurts.

Sunday night my husband was in the hospital with chest pains. Thankfully there is nothing wrong with his heart, but they don't know what was causing the chest pains. He came home Monday afternoon so it's kind of a wait and see game now.

My middle child celebrated his birthday last Tuesday. He's five:( We're having his party this weekend and so I've been really bogged down with everyday life.

I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things by the beginning of next week.
